Channel Verification
What Verification Means
Channel verification in Repute AI confirms two things:
- Ownership: You have proven that you own or administrate the Telegram channel being claimed
- Integrity threshold: The channel has passed a minimum structural integrity assessment (SIS > threshold)
Verification is not a guarantee of quality — it is a confirmation of identity and baseline structural health. Verified channels receive a structural weight boost in the protocol and are eligible for higher visibility within the Mindshare Arena.
How to Verify
Step 1: Add the Repute Bot to Your Channel
Add the official Repute AI Telegram bot as an administrator to your channel. The bot requires only read permissions — it does not need to post, delete, or manage users.
Step 2: Prove Ownership
The bot will send a verification code to your channel (as a temporary message, deleted after verification). This proves that you have administrator access — only channel admins can receive and confirm this message.
The message is automatically deleted after the verification challenge is completed.
Step 3: Structural Assessment
After ownership is confirmed, Repute AI runs a full structural assessment on your channel:
- SIS score is computed
- TRI is evaluated
- Minimum thresholds are checked
Step 4: Verification Result
| Outcome | Condition |
|---|---|
| Verified | SIS above threshold + ownership confirmed |
| Pending | Ownership confirmed but SIS below threshold. Recheck scheduled. |
| Rejected | Ownership not confirmed (bot removed, wrong channel) |
Requirements
| Requirement | Threshold |
|---|---|
| SIS minimum | > 35 (subject to update) |
| Organic follower base | Minimum 200 verified organic followers |
| Channel age | Minimum 30 days |
| Bot risk | TRI BotRisk < 60 |
If your channel’s TRI BotRisk is above 60, verification will be denied regardless of SIS score. Reduce bot exposure before requesting verification.
What Verification Unlocks
| Benefit | Description |
|---|---|
| Verified badge | Displayed in Mindshare Arena and channel profile |
| Structural weight boost | Small positive REP contribution for the channel owner |
| Higher Arena visibility | Verified channels surface in filtered views by default |
| Launchpad eligibility | Some launchpad integrations require verified channel status |
Re-verification
Verification is not permanent. If a channel’s SIS falls below the threshold or its TRI BotRisk rises above 60 due to subsequent structural deterioration, the verified status can be revoked.
Channels are passively monitored after verification. Structural deterioration triggers a re-assessment automatically.
Verification re-assessment is performed automatically by the protocol. You do not need to manually request it. If your status is revoked, you will be notified via the Repute AI bot and can re-apply after addressing the structural issues.
