Red Flags

Structural fragility is often visible before price collapse. These are the observable signals that consistently appear in communities that collapse post-TGE.

🚫

Red Flag 1: Symmetrical Join Spikes

A sudden, large, symmetrical increase in channel members over a short window (24–72 hours) with no corresponding organic event (partnership, major news, listing announcement).

Human organic growth is asymmetric — it builds gradually and tapers. Symmetrical spikes are the clearest bot deployment signature.

What to check: SIS anomaly score (A). AVI SustainabilityFactor. TRI BotRisk component.

🚫

Red Flag 2: Emoji-Only Engagement

Message threads filled exclusively with emoji reactions — rocket ships, fire, money bags — with no substantive text replies.

Emoji engagement is the cheapest synthetic engagement type. It signals either bot activity or a community that has zero genuine interest and is only interacting to perform enthusiasm.

What to check: SIS engagement depth (D). Should be > 0.15 for structurally sound communities.

🚫

Red Flag 3: Engagement Asymmetry

View counts dramatically exceeding reply counts at ratios that exceed human behavioral norms.

Example: A message with 40,000 views and 3 text replies has an engagement asymmetry ratio of 13,333:1. Organic communities rarely exceed 500:1 for standard announcement content.

What to check: SIS engagement depth (D). If D is near zero, this flag is likely active.

🚫

Red Flag 4: No Creator Overlap

Zero or near-zero independent creators referencing the project outside of its own channels.

The project’s narrative exists only in its own promotional sphere. No independent validators, no organic spreading, no external creators adding their voice. When the project stops paying for promotion, the narrative disappears immediately.

What to check: NSM creator density. Anything below 3 independent creators is structurally isolated.

🚫

Red Flag 5: Pre-TGE Spike Collapse

A rapid rise in community metrics (joins, views, AVI) in the weeks before TGE, followed by a drop before the TGE itself.

This pattern indicates the artificial acceleration ran out of energy before the launch event. The coordinated campaign ended. If the structure can’t maintain momentum through its own launch, it certainly won’t maintain it afterward.

What to check: AVI trend with 30-day lookback. A declining AVI in the final week pre-TGE is a highly negative signal.

Combining Red Flags

Individual red flags are concerning. Multiple red flags simultaneously are a strong structural collapse indicator.

Active Red FlagsRisk Assessment
0Normal — proceed with standard evaluation
1Elevated — identify which flag and cross-reference other signals
2–3High — serious structural concerns. Strong caution warranted.
4–5Critical — all structural indicators suggest fragility.

“Structural fragility is often visible before price collapse.”

The data is there before the market prices it. That is the purpose of Repute intelligence.
